Recently, I caught up with an old friend from 20 years back (OMG is it that long???) who worked in the Blind industry (manufacturing blinds, NOT using a white cane!!) He introduced me to a relatively new shutter timber which is grown organically, harvested and manufactured in an environmentally responsible manner, and comes with a 5 year general warranty and a 15 year structural warranty.
