You may well find cheaper options however it is important to have faith when you are investing in window furnishings that the end product and service reflects your desired outcome.
As with most things - do some homework first and work out what you think you want and would like to see as a finished product. When its all said and done, every consultant is delivering on what "the customer" wants; so if you can't provide some direction then you may not achieve the best result.
